BSR Home Facts is a home transparency service that helps homeowners make confident decisions more efficiently before they Buy, Sell, or Remodel their home. Our data driven insights are designed to give our members a competitive advantage without wasting precious time or money.
Our paid member homeowners get their first home inspection free along with a repair cost analysis, and special discounts from our vetted home services and home improvement professionals.
How does BSR Home Facts work?
We start with ordering you a new home inspection or you can upload an existing home inspection. Our system analyzes the findings and delivers a clear report with a scope of work, cost estimates, and recommended contractors.
You will also be assigned a Personal Renovation Advisor who will be your on-call concierge to help you coordinate any home repairs or remodeling projects.
Of course, you can always do this on your own if you don’t care for our concierge service, we just want to help you have the best experience possible as if you were on vacation in the finest hotel and needed a recommendation to a great restaurant. Either way, you are in the drivers seat and we are just here to help when you need us!
Who are the contractors and service providers you recommend?
All BSR Home Facts contractors are pre-vetted for licensing, insurance, customer reviews, and workmanship. They are also highly recommended by the professional real estate community who deal with these contractors every day. We cut through a companies marketing hype and slick offers and use the pros who are known to deliver a great experience. That does not mean they are the cheapest, it means we are looking for pros who have a proven track record for delivering the most VALUE.
It’s important to note that we are dealing with home improvements and repairs and on occasion, things don’t go as planned. We regularly vet our Pros by what they do when things don’t go well, just as much as what they do to make things go smoothly.
Is my personal information secure?

Simply stated, our job is to provide our members with trusted information to care for their investment. We believe that when a property is being listed, changing hands, or being improved, having accurate, data-driven insights helps everyone make smarter, more confident financial decisions.
With that said, just like services such as Angi, HomeAdvisor, Porch, or Thumbtack, we may share certain property details with trusted contractors to generate real bids or match you with the right pro. But we never share your personal information (like your name or contact info) until you say it’s okay.
It’s like having a personal renovation advisor—one who protects your privacy, removes the guesswork, and brings the best local experts to your doorstep.
Are the cost estimations accurate?
Yes. We use local contractor pricing and real-world bids to ensure estimates reflect current market rates.
For some reports, like your Repair Cost Analysis, we use our proprietary A.I. functions to create a price range for home improvements based on average contractor pricing in your area. The benefit to you is this information doesn’t require your time scheduling appointments with contractors when you are just looking for ballpark pricing.
Can I use BSR Home Facts for commercial properties?
Currently, BSR Home Facts is designed for residential properties. However, we will be expanding to commercial projects in the future.
Is BSR Home Facts free to use?
Yes—requesting a personal renovation advisor is completely free, and it’s a great way to get expert guidance without any upfront commitment.
